We're expecting alumni to visit us the weekend of October 4, 5 and 6 for our 50th Anniversary celebration. We'll have worship, plenty of opportunity to eat and socialize, along with an evening of music requests and testimonies, plus an art show featuring alumni, and a slide show of photos of interest. Other stuff too!

Schedule for the weekend, good as of 8/22/2019:
Friday night, 5 p.m.
- Meet the Artists, opening show featuring self-portraits by G&P artists through the years. I Finger food available.
- Also: A running slide show featuring old photos and liturgical art collection. Also, a video show of kiddie musical productions.
- Archival books and papers available in the library.
- Available for sale in the Gallery: Anniversary poster by John Hendrix, and calendars showing liturgical art.
Friday Night, 7:30 pm, worship service of thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness, featuring a sermon from Jerram Barrs and classical music from Cathie Lehr Ramos, cellist. Babysitting offered.
Saturday 11:30-4, picnic at Turkish pavilion in Tower Grove Park. Featuring a pig-picking, with pig roasted by Pastor Tim. Eat from 11:30 to 1:30, to be followed by beverages, dessert and recreation. Name tags and get-to-know-you games, plus lawn games for kids.
Saturday eve. 7-9:30 p.m. a sing-along plus testimonies at Grace and Peace. A program of favorite G&P oldies (including a choir?) plus sharing testimony. Kathleen Thro & Gail Havens will lead music. Babysitting offered.
Sunday 10:30-12 Worship service, looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us, sermon from Pastor Tim.
Sunday 12:00-3 Finger Food Social in the Fellowship Hall with dessert in the Gallery, viewing slide shows and art. More time for visiting expected.
