Thurman's Celebration Supper

It is bittersweet to bid farewell to Pastor Thurman and his family, but we can send him with joy to the Lord’s next calling on his life! So, please join your brothers and sisters on Saturday, December 8, for a Celebration Supper honoring Thurman and giving thanks for his ministry here.

Pete Watson will be our Master of Ceremonies.

We'll gather at 5 pm in the Fellowship Hall, where we'll enjoy dinner together. The menu includes fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, various vegetables and Southern loaves of bread, and pies, cobblers, and cakes made by you. Following our meal, we’ll sing together and speak words of love and encouragement to Thurman through an open microphone time, and we'll close with a prayer for the Williamses.

Childcare for the evening is provided through age 6 starting after supper; your children may eat supper with you. Children age 7 and older are welcome to remain in the program as you feel appropriate. We may have a limited number of spots for childcare, so please contact the office ( ) to reserve a spot.
